UNTIL THEY KILL ME

Until They Kill Me is an apocalyptic thriller about two strangers attempting to survive a nationwide power outage.

Jason and Nara are trapped in the same catastrophe, even though they’re from opposite ends of the world. Jason is a landscaper and survivalist from the Georgia backwoods. Nara is a teenage exchange student from China to Atlanta. Jason lost his son six years prior–and blames himself. Nara was rejected by society for a moral failure–and she’s wrestled with depression ever since.

When a cyberattack shuts down the United States power grid, Jason and Nara are forced to watch opposing sides of the disaster rip modernity apart. Starvation, dehydration, and violence take over society. True colors–including things within Jason and Nara–rise to the surface. If they’re going to stay alive, Jason and Nara must face the darkness in their pasts, take deadly risks, and, most frightening of all–learn to trust again.

In 2017, the Congressional Electromagnetic Pulse Commission claimed nine out of ten Americans would die within one year of a widespread power outage.
Until They Kill Me postures societal collapse against the human will to survive in a saga the length of The Two Towers.

This book is geared toward new adults, but as it contains no profanity or graphic sexuality, it is especially appealing to those looking for a clean but exciting read.

Until They Kill Me is Madison’s debut novel, the first in a four-book series called
